Jamie Leon (Outside Sales Manager)

Jamie joined FSA in 2009 after past associations with the organization over many years of his career. Jamie earned a BS in Business Administration & Finance from Towson State University in 1991. That same year, he became licensed in the state of MD for Life, Health, Auto and Long Term Care. He started his career in insurance as a Marketing/Sales Rep for John Alden where he helped independent agents & MGAs grow their sales in group & individual life products. While at John Alden, Jamie was recognized as a two-time recipient of a company sponsored award for outstanding sales results.

After leaving John Alden, he was hired on at Old Mutual Financial Network, then F&G Life. For 7 years, Jamie demonstrated outstanding leadership as he provided sales support using extensive knowledge of company products and services to conduct orientations, training sessions, seminars, and teleconferences to increase customer satisfaction. His work exceeded growth objectives by increasing life insurance market share by 200% over a five-year period. Aside from his success in the filed, Jamie's innovative ideas helped boost the company's efficiency through website advancements, and through service center improvements to call times, accuracy of service and expedited resolution to escalated issues. Like his work in the field, his internal contributions meant an increase in customer satisfaction. During his tenure at OM, Jamie became well respected by many of the industry's leading producers and marketing organizations, including Financial Security Associates. Jamie's support of FSA during that time played a large role in the exceptional growth in life insurance sales that they experienced.

Jamie's most recent position was as a Regional Sales Manger for Assurity Life Insurance Company where once again, he proved his ability to exceed sales expectations through his rigorous mentoring, coaching & training of growing businesses. He opened up new sales territories and successfully increased his agent base by 50% in one year and new worksite premium by 25% through cold calling, new agent recruiting and direct solicitation of groups from 5 to 500.
